New Baby.....
The guy looked and looked and once again this baby really would not show us anything,so once we seen that all was good with the other problem and everything seems great with the baby...I just told him to stop looking and we will let this baby be a surprise. My first three older kids were all a surprise,I only had one ultrasound back then too ...and that hospital refused to tell people what they were having so all babies there were a surprise.
Since living here we found out for our last three and since this will most definitely be our last and my husband has never had the surprise I like the idea of him getting to have it as well. There is nothing else on earth that compares to that moment when your baby is born and they say it's a boy/girl and you are just finding out right then when you meet them!
I slept all the time with my first baby almost 20 years ago and then my oldest out of these ones 4 years ago ,but once you have one or two or in my case now three little ones in the house....you never get any sleep in the day. All I do is chase kids and the older two never nap in the day ,so I can't sleep when they do . I try laying down on the couch when the baby goes down, but I just lay there and kinda rest while I listen to the other two and jump up 60,000 times to get drinks, snacks and take the oldest to potty.
So for now I'm alive, and I'm hoping this new baby will be a good sleeper at night or I'm screwed...yikes !

School Safety Tips
School is in session for children of all ages from preschool to high school and as parents we are focused and buying necessities like new clothes and school supplies. We often do not think to discuss back to school safety. Whether we are talking about it for the first time or the tenth time it is very important. Make sure your discussion is age appropriate. For instance a four year old probably will not ride a bus or walk home by himself, however an older child will. A few topics are even worth repeating no matter how old your child is.
Bus SafetyWalk with a friend or group and stay visible but out of the road. Remind your child of the danger of strangers. Come up with a plan to avoid or escape if necessary. Before school starts take a few practice walks to the bus stop so your child will feel comfortable. Talk with your child about safety procedures once he is on the bus. Discuss possible emergency situations. Make sure your child knows how to contact you. Talk about what your child should do if bullied on the bus. Let him know that he should tell the bus driver of any problems.
Lunch Box Food SafetyWe took our lunch to school as kids and never questioned how our mom packed it. New studies show that often foods we pack in our child’s lunch box are not kept at a safe temperature even with an ice pack. Choose an insulated lunch box as opposed to a plastic lunch box. Make sure you have a large size ice pack or a couple of smaller ice packs for cold cut sandwiches, yogurt, fresh cut fruit, and cheese sticks.
School SafetyThe school administration usually does a nice job of convincing you that your child will be safe and well cared for. Many kids make it from kindergarten to twelfth grade without a hitch. Other kids will not be so lucky. The trouble may be with a student but could even be with a teacher. Talk with your child about how to handle bullies, relationship issues, teacher problems or academic struggles. As a parent you have your opinion and ideas of how your child should handle different situations. The most important thing is that your child feel comfortable to tell an adult about a problem before it gets too big.
Taking proactive steps for school safety can mean the beginning of a successful year!
