Our Weekend With No Kids !

We got to spend 4 nights with no kids,for the first time in 5 years ! We went to Ponca City and went here and here and we drove by her and PW's ranch but stupid me I forgot to take pictures and then when we left town we didn't drive by her house again ...so no pictures for me or you but I did see where she lives.

We then drove to OKC which was not a nice drive,I had pains in my belly the whole time and then when we were almost there and got in really bad traffic ...I thought we were going to be killed and once almost were thanks to some moron not watching where they were going!

We stayed over night in a nice hotel and it was packed along with everything else due to the fact the basketball team was in town playing on the next street over and there was an Art festival going on that weekend. I was all excited to go to the riverwalk ,my mil had told us a few times it's really nice and there are lots of shops and things to see......ummm well maybe she was drunk when she was there or needed her new glasses or has a totally different idea what lots of shops are then we do because....it's all bars !

We walked from one end to the other and yes it is really pretty however there was only one little shop(under Hooters of all places ) and we asked in there if there were any other stores and they said no. So if you are young and don't have kids with you and want to spend hours bar hopping then it would be tons of fun....however I'm old and pregnant so not really any fun for me or the husband that had to listen to me bitch and complain that we should have went somewhere else instead of wasting our time driving there.

We got up early the next morning and were just going to leave but the hubby decided to suggest we go see the zoo ,because he felt bad I didn't have fun and knows I like checking out zoos wherever we go ...he does not but he did it to be nice and found he really liked it too. It was really nice and if you are ever around there I would suggest going and checking it out for yourself.

After the zoo we drove to Tulsa and went to the Amish Cheese House which was awesome and they had tons of stuff to buy and believe me I did !

On Sunday we spent the day at Lowes buying yard stuff and doing yard work...fun fun ! The next day we got up and went to get the babies,we stopped into a Hallmark store to get a Thank you card for Nana for watching our babies and the lovely woman had this to say to ruin the rest of my day ........" You look like your due soon...I said July...she said JULY..you must be having twins or do you not know?...I said nope there is just one girly in there...she said oh"....So thanks lady you could have just said "Damn you are huge" it would have been the same thing!

I have never had anything said to me like that when I was pregnant for my first three kids ,but with all three of these babies I have had someone ask me if I'm having twins...so either the people around here are just way more rude then the people back home or they are so use to seeing people that don't eat and look anorexic when they are pregnant that when they see a normal sized pregnant person they think they are really big .

Just so you all know every single time I have ever gone to the doctor and been measured my belly is always exactly right on with my weeks and not once has any doctor told me I was too large for my dates !

So that was my fun weekend......what did you do ?

The other top I ordered looks perfect ,I just haven't had anywhere to wear it yet as it's been kind of cold here the last few days.

I Hope....

I hope that the new baby does not act like her sister ! I have never ever had a baby so stubborn in all my life as this girl! The minute you go to lay her down to give her a dry bum she starts screaming and trying to roll over and stays screaming until you are finished and pick her back up.

I always hope nobody is walking by or out in their yard when she's doing it because I think they are going to think I'm in here beating my kid. She does it with everyone and they all look like they are scared to death when trying to change her from all the screaming she does ...then the second you are done and pick her up BAM shes happy and smiling !

I keep thinking if shes like this at 9 months ...just what am I going to be dealing with when she's older ? She's happy and jumping in her jumper now but 8 minutes ago you would have thought she was being tortured ...I just don't get it !

Has anyone else had a baby that did this ?

WTH ?!!!!!

I just seen this in the news ....I have to agree with the older man ...give me a little while in a room with this guy and nobody would have to worry about him doing anything sexual to anyone ever again cause IT would be gone if I didn't actually kill the little bastard !

For Those Of You On FB.......

Here is the update on my husband ...for those of you who don't know here's the story....

Last week I got a call from my husband starting out with "Don't freak out ,I'm OK"...well that's never good ! He was at work and all of a sudden had a numb tingly feeling come over half his face and both eyes went all blurry so he couldn't see. He works at a large company and they happen to have a doctor's office in his building. A friend called down there and they brought a wheelchair up to get him and took him down for the doctor to have a look and see what was going on.

He went for a MRI and had a bunch of test to see if anything was going on wrong in his head and they checked to see if he had any blockages in his veins....we waited all the next day and they didn't call but because it was the long weekend we figured maybe they wouldn't. He went to work on Monday and called down first thing and the nurse told him the doctor still had to go over everything....finally around 6 that night she called and told him they couldn't find any tumors or lesions or anything like that going on(THANK GOODNESS) and there were no blockages that they could see in his veins ...once again YAY !

The doctor did notice though that there was a bone very far into his ear canal that didn't look right. He thought maybe because that wasn't right it could be touching nerves and making my husband feel the pressure he's been feeling in the top of his head but really he couldn't figure out why that would cause the other things that had went on last week.

***My husband was in Iraq and ever since he got home and went to get all the medical things done at the VA has known that the hearing in that ear is almost completely gone and all the veins behind that one eye are in a big tangled knot instead of how they are supposed to be ,because of a couple bombs going off really close to that side of his head***

So when the doctor said it was that ear they found something odd it didn't really surprise us. Yesterday however the doctor called my husband back and said he had been looking at everything and it was still bothering him and wanted my husband to go see the ear specialist since he knows more about the bones and things in there then he did and to go see the eye one since once again that's his thing so he knows what he's looking at better then him....ok no problem my husband was going to go to the ear one this morning and eye one tomorrow morning.

However after that call my husband had the same thing happen to him that happened the other week.( I'm just glad that both time he wasn't driving when this has happened !) So he told me he felt it coming on in the middle of eating lunch and he didn't feel any better when he was done ,but as soon as he drank a can of pop he did. He then went and looked it up and all the symptoms for hypoglycemia or type 2 diabetes is the same things he was having. He called down to the doctor's office and told the nurse what had just happened and everything and the doctor called him back and said yes it does all match the symptoms for one of those so now he has to fast and get blood test done for his blood sugars and things and see if they can figure out if this is what's going on so they can figure out how he needs to be treated.

He didn't bother to tell me about yesterday's little episode until he came home last night. So now we are still doing more tests and going to wait to see what they say before we know what's going on. I just hope that this doesn't happen to him when he's driving ,so now I worry all the time when I know he is.

In other news I have been having contractions on and off different nights for a couple weeks. So I worry about that since I'm only 22 1/2 weeks...my husband goes away on Sunday for the week and gets home Friday and leaves again Sunday and gets home on Thursday...so I just hope nothing happens for the next two weeks while he's far away!

So that's all the exciting news that's been going on around here and I hope that's all that happens from now till I'm due .
