I just read this story about a pregnant woman in the Olympics on the curling team...no big deal really since it's nothing dangerous other then how fast her heart gets beating doing the sweep thing and maybe the risk of falling on the ice is a little risky but not that bad.
However near the bottom of the story you see she isn't the first pregnant woman to compete in the Olympics and Holy Crap what the other two were doing is scary and made me say WTH why would you risk your baby flying down the mountain on your belly at 80-100 miles an hour .....CRAZY ! Even the other girl doing skating well there are lots of jumps and things going on where you can fall...I just don't get it yeah I guess it's the Olympics and not very many people have the chance to be in them or win medals in them but to me my baby's safety is more important then some stupid little medal ...but that's just me.

a medal is a once in a lifetime experience sure, but baby only gets one life too. Job should be to protect that precious life within your womb. Curling with baby on board sure, but ice skating is pushing it, and skiing is crazy!
I never heard that! That's just plain crazy. If my job were to ever have a slight chance in harming my baby, I chose baby first.
