What's Been Going On Here ?

A little bit of everything !

First off my dh got a different job ...whoohoo ! He has this week off to try and do a few things before he starts there. (I guess we will see about that ) We need to do a few things around here and then list our house. It's about 40 minutes away and I know alot of people do drive that daily and have for years,but we haven't liked this house since we bought it anyway . We always planned even if he got a new job here we would eventually sell this one.

I know it seems weird we bought it not liking it ,but we had ours sold and after looking at 30( I kid you not ) we just took the best out of what we seen . We still had to paint the whole house and put all new floors in and there are still things we would do if we were staying .

So the dh is excited about starting the new job and I hope it really is great and he's happy with it. I can't wait to start looking at houses, but I worry about if this one will sell since most of the places here have laid off a lot of their employees.

The baby is doing great and I find she's really starting to stay awake longer and look around more. She's even talking a little and smiling more and more ! The other kids all love her and surprising enough Brody is pretty good with her...at least a lot better then I had pictured in my mind !

In other news...I finally met my first blog friend ! whoohoo It was Heather from A Big Boy, A Baby Girl,and a Precious Pug ! If you haven't been to her blog go check it out ! For awhile now she's been kicking cancer's ass and she's been talking about it on her blog along with the daily fun of being a mom of two great little ones !

I have to say on the way there I was kind of nervous about meeting her , but once I was there and seen her and her family walking towards us at the zoo ...it just went away . We had a nice time with the kids walking the zoo and looking at the animals . Brody even gave Ella a little kiss on the arm , but we didn't catch it with the cameras . We did get some pictures and even some with us in them,but I don't know if I will be brave enough to post those...she looks wonderful and I on the other hand look like a beached whale next to her ! haha

Boy seeing those sure smacked me in the face..... I need to lose all this weight I gained since moving here and being pregnant for the last two years ! I use to look thin and not half bad...now it's fat and bad both...not good !

I would love to do it again sometime when the baby gets older and can sit up and look too ! Plus then Brody and Ella will be older and we won't spend most of our time giving them snacks and drinks and putting them in and out of the strollers and can actually walk along and talk to each other ! haha

We came home and I was cutting a piece of ice cream cake for Tanner and sliced my finger ...that was fun ....NOT ! To make the night even better when we got on our street there was about 30 cars parked on both sides of it and the woman that just moved in next door was having a big party ! Her backyard was all lit up and there was a live band playing ....which would have been fine if it was out in the country and not right next to where my kids sleep ! Finally about 3:00am it was quiet !

Yet another reason moving won't be so bad...here I was thinking some single woman in her 50's would be a better neighbor then the two 20 something year old guys that had been living there would be ....now I'm think I was very wrong !

Yesterday was a nice quiet day here with the kids, my dh bbq'd steak for my birthday and we just had a nice family day .

With you I just never know what I'm going to get sometimes you are sweet and quiet other times quiet and mopey and lots of times loud and happy and then there are those moments where you are loud and angry (usually at your sister ) but no matter the mood ....I always love you !

Nothing New Here !

I took the baby for her 1 month check up yesterday and she was 10 pounds. She still is awake at night , but a little better maybe or maybe that's just my wishful thinking talking !

The dh was offered a new job, and it's better then the crappy one we have been putting up with for the last three years. He has to clear the background check and the pee test first though.....I'm sure they will be fine as far as I know he's not a criminal and he doesn't do drugs !

I told him to tell them he does take medicine for his cholesterol and heartburn...I doubt those would matter though ...however it's better to tell them I think just in case. Isn't it nice getting old you can tell you are just by that last statement ...." Don't forget to tell them about your high cholesterol and heartburn meds " ! haha

I will love it if everything works out and we get to sell this house and move away from here, but the thoughts of moving sucks ass.....it's the worst ! The thoughts of a different house though ...I love ! I guess we will see what happens.

Remember how I said I will never have another baby .....well.....I changed my mind , because I'm nuts ! I still feel the baby pull happening to me ....weird ! My dh said no way we are too old now. I don't want to be too old to do anything when the kids all leave the house. I mean we can't wait for a few years of course ,because we are old ...but we could just go ahead and do it now. That way it would only be a matter of months before they all are out of school not 4-5 years like some people's kids.

Don't mind my ramblings .....these feelings will pass maybe in a couple weeks or so. So tell me when you thought that's it no more kids , did you ever regret stopping ? Did you say no more and then change your mind and have one more ?

I haven't been on here as much because of this cute little baby...she likes to be awake all night and then in the day her crazy brother runs around and has discovered he can climb up on chairs and tables.......It's been really fun here !
