Nothing New !

It's been raining and windy and basically crappy for the last four days or so . We didn't do much on the weekend , went to supper at his mother's on Saturday night .

We did watch a couple movies, The Day The Earth Stood Still .....was ok, I went to bed before it was over though since I didn't find it that thrilling. Then the other one was Yes Man and it was good, I usually don't care much for him and all the stupid faces he makes , but this movie was pretty good and not really much of that.

I went to the doctor this morning and she said everything looked good and measured my belly for the first time and it was right on with where it should be. I had went in yesterday morning for the sugar blood test thing and she said she had the results from that in and they were good .
So everything seems to be going along fine with the baby , other then I still have a lot of pain down at the bottom of my belly on different days.

Brody has been really cranky the last couple weeks , because he has four new teeth coming in so I haven't been getting much sleep . I hope they all come through pretty soon so he will go back to sleeping at night better.

I don't know why , but for the last few days I have been thinking watch this baby come out and be a boy. Maybe because now I have girly stuff in my house and that's all I ever look at anytime we go anywhere. I just think well that would be my luck, but who knows !

I got a couple new pair of shoes today , but I didn't take a picture of them yet ...so I'll show you them some other day . Poor Brody was in heaven in that shoe store and you could just see how excited he was when we walked in there , and then see how pissed he was we wouldn't let him down so he could throw all the shoes all over the place ! haha

My DH wanted to try the new KFC chicken so we got that and brought it home , so now I don't have to cook ....he still has a big bucket out there full of it ! I never eat it just the sides and I love the biscuits, but everyone else loves the chicken , so they can have it !

So since I'm happy and not having to cook tonight , let's hear what you are cooking like a good little wifey ! haha

Stuff !

It's been nice here all day,after it was such a wet crappy weekend. We didn't do anything too exciting on the weekend, went out for supper at some new place we found . It was a seafood place and not bad . Bought a couple little hats for the baby that are cute and summery.

The hubby is on the computer a lot now looking for a job, so I don't get to have it much. He's got class tonight so I can use it . When there was all the talk going around about Fireproof we didn't watch it , but then we rented it a few weeks ago and although the whole idea and story weren't bad the acting was crapola .

We did see 7 Pounds and it was really good , I like Will Smith though and most of the movies he's in. My due date is exactly 3 months from today , but we think she will be coming before that . I still need to get a couple things for her like receiving blankets and other girly blankets and things all mine have footballs or trucks on them!

Other then that there isn't much to post....life has been pretty boring ! So since my life is so boring what fun did you guys have this weekend?

Does Anyone Else .......

Get upset when people don't do what they say they are going to do ? Maybe I'm the only one on earth that is this way, and I'm most definitely the only one in this town, that does what they say and on time ! If I say I'm going to be somewhere at a certain time ...then I am ! There is nothing that makes me crazy more then people that say a time then they aren't there when they said and you are stuck waiting !

I even get cranky about blog stuff .If there is something I do weekly and I'm sitting here waiting and waiting for the first one to get posted , so I can do mine then the longer I wait the crankier I become with everyone in my house .

I don't know why I get this way and feel bad I'm in such a bad mood but I can't help it. To me if you start something or are the ringleader in something and you make plans or go away well then just post it before you go or the night before.

I'm the same way with a certain person's mother...I won't say who..... but if you tell me you will be here at _:00 , then be here ! If I'm ready to go and you said then ,then that's when I'm ready! There is nothing worse then waiting and waiting, mostly when you have a kid driving you nuts because they are waiting too !

Then there is the whole everything in this town drives me crazy ! I have never seen or heard tell of most of the weird stupid crap that the people do here !

Like in any other big store I have ever seen if they have a pharmacy then it's usually opened until 8-9 maybe even later. Since most people work and if they have a sick kid, run out after supper to get things they need for the kid ! Well not here...... the one here closes at 6 to me that's nuts !

Don't they realize that they could do way more business if they stay opened in the evening so people that are busy all day could run out then and get their stuff !

The same thing with restaurants here...the couple nice ones are closed on Mondays...because people don't eat on Mondays? Then most of them here close on Sundays at 2-3 because on Sundays people don't want to eat supper ? Then there is one that's only opened on Monday and Friday and Saturday, but the times are 11-2 and then Saturdays they are opened again around 4-8..........How do you expect to do good in your business when your hours are so crappy ?

I just don't get it !

Anyway, maybe I'm the only one that gets annoyed by these things. Maybe I'm really cranky today because I have a 14 month old here that's cranky as hell getting two big molars in . Maybe because I'm pregnant and need sleep , but I have a husband that grinds his damn teeth every night so I'm awake all night makes me so bitchy who knows!

We have plans to go out to supper Saturday night and maybe watch a movie....out of town of course since there is nothing here ! I hope it's all good and we don't get a call that he's being way to cranky and we need to come home before we get there.

Here's What Is Going On !

I went to the doctor on Tuesday morning , and she told me that I have a tear in the big ligament that runs at the bottom of your belly. She figured it was a combination of me being older and this being baby number five , the fact that I weigh way way more then I ever did even at nine months pregnant with my three older kids. I got pregnant pretty fast after Brody and never lost any weight before I did and the fact that the baby is really low in there and I pick up and carry a 13 month old boy around all the time.

So I'm to take it easy and not lift anything ! I didn't think there would be anything good about my husband losing his job, but for now with him being home it's great ...he does everything for the boy and I never have to pick him up for anything !

Other then that there wasn't much going on this week, the lawn got mowed, my DH cleaned up some shrubs and things and stuff like that. We have a big tree out front that has these horrid little hard spiked balls that fall all over the place and make such a mess. We called a guy to come have a look and tell us how much he'd charge to cut it down and he said $500 and that didn't include taking out the stump or taking away the mess ! My husband said thanks for stopping by and that was that!

So we will be looking around for a better price and someone that will do the whole damn job for that price !

I hope everyone has a nice weekend , and is safe in their travels with all the extra traffic that will be on the roads !

Stuff !

My weekend was spent mostly groaning and moaning in pain . When I was pregnant for my second daughter I was working at a home where I took care of two elderly people. I had a 75 year old man with Alzheimer's that pooped his pants daily and he couldn't wear just normal underwear or depends ...oh no he wore long johns the one piece kind...so I had to deal with that mess and get him in the tub to get cleaned up all the time.

Then on top of that I also had his mother in law that was 93 and in a wheel chair, so I had to get her up in the morning and was always having to lift her in and out of it to go to the bathroom and whenever she wanted to go lay down.

When I was 7 1/2 months I ended up in pain lots of it ,and was even in the hospital for a couple days with a pulled muscle up in my ribs on my right side and boy did it hurt ! Since last week I have noticed I have a really sharp pain in my left side way down at the bottom of my belly, since Friday it was getting alot worse to the point of me screaming out in pain when I tried to get up off the chair or wherever I was sitting and I have to lay on my right side in bed and can not roll over I tried twice Saturday night and layed in there bawling until my husband heard me and came to help me out.

I was thinking oh no I hope it's not a hernia since it's sore right in the spot where you get them and it feels the very same as a couple of people I know that had them told me how theirs felt. It also doesn't help that this baby is lower then any baby I have ever carried and lays right where it hurts and kicks it all the time.

When I got thinking back to when I was pregnant for Tori 15 years ago I started to remember just how much pain I was in with that and thought even though it's a different spot maybe that's what this is too, and was happy to let the scary thoughts of having to have surgery get out of my head.

I go to the doctor first thing tomorrow morning anyways, so I'll just tell her about it and see what she thinks it is . I wasn't going to waste my money going to the ER and having some doctor I don't know poke around on my sore belly since I have a baby in there and like my baby doctor much more then I'd like some guy I have never met being rough with me on the weekend.

Supper !

I came across this recipe this morning , and thought it sounded good and since I had meat in the fridge I bought last night I knew I could whip it up !

Hers called for pork chops, but I used country style spare ribs instead ( I always use these kind since they have lots of meat and no bones.) . They were so tender and yummy !

Me being me , I added a few other things like I do to most things I cook.

I added some pepper, garlic powder and some extra brown sugar and a few splashes of Country Bob's sauce.

I also like to cheat anytime I can get away with it, so instead of making mashed potatoes myself ,

I used those and they are really good !
