Prima Princessa Giveaway !

Now I'll be the first one to admit ....I know nothing about dance ! My 16 year old just this year took dance in school for the first time, it's a mixture of all different kinds that she gets tested on , on a regular basis. So that is the closest dance has come to my house , however since this new baby is going to be a girl and my dh's sister took dance for years and years and her daughter has been doing it too. I have a feeling we just might end up with years of dance ahead of us in the not so distant future.

This Baby and Other Things !

It took longer to feel this baby moving around in there , then it did for the others . However now I think it's making up for lost time, I have never had a baby that stays awake moving as long as this one does. I can feel it once it starts and it's nothing to feel it for more then an hour , lots of different times through out the day .

So once again I'm back to the not understanding how people can go nine months and never know it. I have seen the shows and listened to the doctors, but really once that baby is so big and it's bones are stronger and it can really move and kick ....how can you never feel it at all ?

Even if it doesn't move much you still feel hard little kicks sometimes....weird !


I ordered the Step 2 wagon for Brody , so I can pull him around the block . I know he will love it and maybe just maybe I'll lose a pound or 50 or at least not gain anymore weight !

I never had one with the other kids , but I use to walk with them in the stroller all the time and always had time where I could go with one and leave the others. Now with him and this new one coming I'm going to have to get a double stroller and once the baby is older it will be able to go in the wagon too for rides since there are two seats and seat belts .

I hope once we ever move it's to some place with hardly any traffic or at least good sidewalks. This places has awful sidewalks, and crazy kids that drive up and down the street .

Nothing new here , it's pretty bad when you are all excited to go get your hair cut. That's how boring my life is , I'm going today and it's the first time I've gone since Brody was a couple months old.

I can't wait to go after this baby comes and get something done about all this gray hair I have suddenly come out with ....good lord ...I'm OLD !

He's Grown So Much !

I was looking at pictures, and thought boy has he grown since then (Sept ) . His hair is alot longer and he can run and talk more, back then he was just starting to crawl .

Try It Tuesday !

Usually I do my Try It Tuesdays ..on food and sometimes other smaller household things .

Today though I thought I'd do it on this , I have always thought I would love to get some of the great looking Le Creuset cookware . However they are really really expensive and just in case you have never looked let me show you , this pot is right around the same as the one I bought .

It sells for $250 and can go up to $360 in some stores ! To me that's crazy , I got this one at Sam's Club for $38 and it's great and is almost a twin to the other . So it's worth it to look around in places , because you never know what great deals you might find . I just happened to be walking by it and thought boy it looks like the ones I have always wanted, some older lady was standing there and said " Do you have one of these, I said no I'm thinking about it though. She said I bought one for my daughter last week and she loved it so much I'm getting one for me and my other daughter right now " . So I grabbed one too, since there were only three or four sitting there !

I have to say I love it , and if anyone ever broke into my house all I'd have to do is hit them with it and they'd be out cold because boy is it heavy !

I guess today is one of those days where my post wants to run altogether no matter how many times I space it ....sorry !

Monday !

Today is the first day of the dh not running out the door to go to that rotten job. In a way it was very nice not to hear his damn work cell ringing all night . Now will be the start of wondering when or if he will ever hear back from some place about any of the jobs he's applied to.

He went to work Saturday and when he was done he was to leave his office key and his cell, it's nice they find him so trust worthy to let him go in when nobody else is there and do his stuff and then just leave and lock up after they told him two days before it would be his last day. Most places wouldn't do that , but he's a good guy and they know it .....so even nicer of them to screw him over and keep the other guy because he's the boss's best buddy and sucks his ass .....even though he doesn't like the job and it was always my husband who had to fix all his mistakes.

The guy was supposed to come in on Thursday and Friday and see how to fill out these new reports that have to be turned into the court each day for the whole bankruptcy thing and the moron didn't even show up for my husband to show him how to do it.

I just laugh and think good enough now today when he's behind in his work and then when he's stuck there late tonight trying to do the extra court ordered stuff and getting calls every two minutes from people bitching at him.....I hope he is pissed and quits ! That would be a great slap in the face to the boss that kept his buddy instead of the guy that can actually do the work right and on time !

I have a little bit of hatred towards them , can't you tell ? haha

Anyways in a way it will be nice to have him here for a little while just doing his college classes and then maybe he can actually get some stuff done around here, since he was never home in the day light to get it done before.

My Life Is Not What I Had In Mind !

I had always said , once I was 25 I wouldn't be having anymore kids . After my third baby I sent the ex right away to get fixed , because I knew I didn't want anymore kids with him ! I had three kids before I was 24 and I had a rotten husband, however I knew someday I might be with someone else and maybe have one or two more if he didn't already have kids.

Before I was 30 I had remodeled a house and sold it for way more then we paid and we had built a new house. I had a new big house , money and my own car and did whatever I wanted. However I also had a husband that was awful and I was glad when he was gone for months and months at a time and I was miserable and lived in complete hell when he was home. So I got a divorce , it was one of the happiest days of my life the day that certificate came in the mail !

I met someone that treats me great and truly does love me, we have a wonderful little boy and a new baby on the way. However here I am 35 living in a house that I can't stand , in a town where I have nobody to talk to and there really isn't much to do .

On top of that I have the worry of medical bills and insurance all the time. I know people here have just always lived with it , so lots really don't give it a second thought . That's all they have ever known , so they might bitch about it but nobody ever really does anything about it. I however spent the first 30 some years of my life in a country where you never ever get medical bills, so for me I think about it all the time !

On top of the thinking about those bills , now I'm freaking out about everything. My dh was told Wednesday afternoon that Saturday is his last day at work ! So I have been stressed...what are we going to do? He needs to look for a job, but there are none here so it will be somewhere else. Which that is fine except we will have to sell this house...and who can afford to buy it since almost everywhere around here has closed or laid off half their people.

Then there is the whole ...how are we going to afford to live with him not working ? Plus he's still going to school.....I can't wait until that's over with so he will have his degree, since lots of companies require that and won't even talk to you if you don't have one. I'm having a baby in July that will bring on a whole new set of bills.

So even though I got rid of my rotten ex husband, my life is not how I imagined ! I just thought I'd tell you all what's going on and if I don't post very often in the next few weeks , that's why. Oh on top of the fact that something wonky is going on with my computer and it keeps turning off, and I never know when that's going to happen. I sure can't get a new one now or anytime soon!

I still have been reading everyone's blogs, I just haven't been commenting much . I never know when I'm going to crash. I do always remember though no matter how bad I think my life is , there is always someone out there going through worse. Funny how I can tell all of you what's going on , but I would never admit to my friends back home how my life is now compared to what all I had back there. I just don't need to hear the why the hell did you ever move there and whatnot.

Well the baby is drinking his bottle , so I'm going to jump in the shower. I hope everyone has a great weekend and remember to be thankful for what you have ! You just never know when it could all be gone .

Good Morning !

I didn't do much of anything all weekend, usually I get up Saturday and wait and wait for the picture challenge and that's what I do on the weekend . It still wasn't up yesterday so I posted the little initial quiz thing just so I'd have something new up there.

The hubby worked all weekend and when he did get home instead of doing things around the house like I wanted ...we had to go see his family . Not only on Saturday we just had to go there Sunday too, I figure since we had to go both days then now we shouldn't have to do it again now for months!

He did put the for sale sign up on the boat when we got home...I've only been waiting for a year and a half for him to do that ! He also hung the light up in here and did the curtain rod thingy for me in our room. So even though it wasn't much , at least he did a couple things.

I picked out everything for the baby's room on Friday and then Saturday I even went to the store and bought a couple pink things . That way I have them sitting there and now the girly pink crap fever has struck ,and all I want to do is look on websites all day for girl clothes.

When we were over at my mil's her husband asked if we had a name for the baby yet and I said "When it comes out , you will know it's name!" the same thing I did with Brody. I don't tell my names until the baby comes, that way if we change our mind at the last minute and don't think the baby looks like a ....... then we don't have people confused or upset because they had already bought whatever with the wrong name on it.

Plus since we find out before hand the sex, then we still have a surprise when the baby comes . His mom said oh you shouldn't even ask them , you will never get it out of them anyways until that baby comes. Then she did say it was kind of fun waiting and wondering, and then when both his parents were in the room at the hospital to meet the new baby it was also when they learned it's name.

Other then that nothing exciting happened here . What did you do this weekend?

I know it's the best surprise you can get...I did it the first three times . The hospital I had my older three kids at , won't tell you the sex ever. So I was surprised, and their father could have cared less about anything to do with the baby or what kind it was.

When I had Brody last February ( Holy crap my boy is 13 months today !) we found out the sex before hand because, I had never had the option before and wanted to do it . Also it was my husband's first baby and he wanted to know . Plus the fact that I hadn't had a baby in over ten years and had gotten rid of everything baby I owned. So it was nice to know and go pick out boy stuff.

I wanted to have my husband not know this time around , so he could see what it's like to have that surprise in the delivery room, since we will not be having another baby . He wanted to know !

We were hoping it would be another boy, since I have a house full of brand new baby boy things . The other kids had all picked a boy too, except Tori who of course picked girl since she always has to be different then her brother and sister ! I had a feeling though all along it would probably be a girl, since I have not one pink thing in this house....that's just how my luck goes...things never go how I hope or what would be the easiest !

So we are having a girl, which is nice that way my husband has one of each . If anyone was confused or couldn't really tell what they were looking at...it is girl parts!

I went before and the baby just would not let them have a good look, and this time it was very hard to see . We however did see where we needed to a few times and knew it was a girl, but because it was jumping around so much and closing it's legs we couldn't really get a nice big shot of it.

If we weren't stressed about the whole job thing so much then , I guess it would be more exciting for me to have to go buy all new stuff. However since I'm not rich thinking about having to get all new stuff, after I just got all new boy stuff a year ago doesn't really thrill me.

It's not that I am mad it's a girl , it just stresses me out thinking now I need to go buy all this stuff, and because I am a girl and not blind ...when I go to the stores and see all the cute girl things I like lots of it , I'm just realistic and know I can't buy everything I see and like.

Meanwhile at home I have a room full of really cute brand new and like new boy clothes, that instead of actually getting to wear on this baby it isn't going to happen. So I'll end up getting rid of all his stuff .

Plus there is the whole name thing, we do not have a girl's name picked out we both like at all !

So I'm going to ask you guys ,what girl names do you like ?

Maybe you can give me a name he will agree too, because I don't like what he has picked and he doesn't like the two I picked.

They Think The Baby Is ..........

Like the last time I went , the baby would not stay still. The woman tried and tried to get a shot to look, and we were even shaking my belly trying to make the baby open it's legs. She said this was the hardest baby she had ever tried to tell the sex for ......so here's the best picture we could get of the part we needed too !

Who Are You Spending Your Free Time With ? 3

I have been busy and haven't gotten around to doing this for a couple months. Since I had a few moments today I thought I'd put it on here.

The book I'm reading now is Sarah's Quilt , written by Nancy E. Turner . I had already read These Is My Words , by her and this book is about the same woman.

****Because of my pregnant brain, I spent two weeks reading ( These Is My Words ) only to remember that I had already read it last February just before I had Brody . So now hopefully I won't reread it again any time soon ******

The story is about a pioneer woman and her life in the Arizona Territories .

" My sewing box is an old cigar box. Inside it,there is a little folded pouch where I keep needles; I put that in my lap and took up a spool of white thread, cutting off a length with my teeth. When I went to open the pouch , though I dropped my spool. Someone had sewn it completely shut with black thread. I could feel the needles still inside, but a tiny seam ran all the way around it. Who would play such a silly joke at a time like this ? I took off the knot and pried loose the new stitches. A tiny slip of paper was inside it, along with a ten- dollar gold piece . On the paper was such tiny handwriting, it almost seemed to be from a newspaper ." The note said..... haha I'm not telling you !

This and That !

I have been in bed the last couple nights by 8:30 , since the baby will never nap in the day . When I was pregnant for him I slept all the time and now with him running around and never napping in the day...I don't get to either !

The hubby says well once the baby comes you are never going to get to sleep in the day....HELLO ...because of the baby in my belly that's why I always want to sleep. I never use to nap in the day any other time , only when I'm pregnant.

I got an award on Friday , and haven't had time to post a Thank You so....Thank you Auntrene for thinking of me and my little ole blog when you were passing them out .

We watched Body of Lies on the weekend and it was good . Plus Dairy Queen finally reopened last week so I have eaten that a couple times. They still aren't done the work inside , but at least they have the drive thru opened.

I still have so much work to do around here and just never feel like doing anything. Since we moved in here and had to do a lot of work we left most of our stuff packed and in the garage and I still have no desire to unpack anything . I did clothes and kitchen stuff , but other then that I just feel like since we have known right from the start we didn't like the house and want to stay in it ...why bother unpacking .

Like so many other families, we are not rich and my husband's job has been uncertain for the last couple months and now it's starting to look even more like he will be getting laid off. They have already gotten rid of a bunch of people , but he still had his job . I guess now though they are going to be getting rid of even more and we think he will be on the list.

So I have been freaking out we live in a town where there is nowhere else to get a job, and anywhere that might have been ok until we found something else has already laid off most of their workers too. Thinking about having a baby in July and having our insurance gone a few months before hand has me flipping out.

Even though it's crappy insurance and we still would have ended up with quite a bill, having none and ending up with the whole thing and no job has me very worried. I wish I was back home where going to the doctor and hospital is free, that way if he got laid off at least we wouldn't be getting a big medical bill on top of the whole surprise you have no job!

Anyways that's enough of my whining , I have laundry to do ! Hope you all have a great day !

Try It Tuesday !

Baby Mum -Mum - My boy has eaten these for months and loves them and loves the vegetable flavored ones too. I like the fact they melt pretty fast in his mouth and unlike some baby cookies these do not make that lovely gooey mess that most make.

Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts - I tried one first and they were absolutely awful, I pretended they were yummy and gave the baby one . He put it in his mouth and made the worst face and spit it out! I tried a couple more times , but it was a no-go he hates them.

Beech - Nut Yogurt Bites - Are multi grain snacks that are covered with yogurt , and they are pretty good and the baby likes them .

Parents Choice Little Fruits - Are little freeze dried pieces of fruit, he likes the banana and they melt in your mouth super fast , however the strawberries he just leaves on the table after he tried one. I tried both and as much as I love strawberries, these are not that great.

So here are a few more things that we have tried to give you some ideas of something you might like to try or if you have been thinking about something you may think twice after hearing we did not like it. haha

I've cut out all soda and almost all caffeine. We eat mixed salads with every dinner--a great way to get extra veggies. My husband eats yogurt every day for lunch with a piece of fruit!
